The Masters of Science in Bioengineering and Doctor of Philosophy will be available in the near future.
If you want increased credibility in areas related to Bioengineering, you may choose to complete a minor to complement the BS Bioengineering degree. If you plan to complete a minor, plan early and meet with the individual overseeing that minor to ensure that you understand their requirements and complete them properly. You must complete the Petition for Certifying a Second Major or Minor form, obtained from the Registrar's Office, French 346, to initiate this process. When you have completed the requirements, you must submit the certification of Major/Minor Completion form to the Registrar's Office.
The Minors and their added requirements are:

| at least 9 credits at 300-400 level (count Math 315 and Math 423) | |
| adds one additional course to the BE curriculum | |
| Neuroscience | 16 credits of Neuro |
| At least 13 credits at or above 300 level | |
| Requires: Neuro 301; Psych 384, Psych 390, or Biol 438; 3 credits of Neuro 495 or Neuro 499; 6 credits from Neuro 403, Neuro 404, or Neuro 430 | |
| Adds at least two extra courses to the BE curriculum | |
| Mechanical Engineering | 16 credits of ME courses at or above 300 level |
| Including two of the four: ME 303, ME 348, ME 404, ME 414 | |
| Can use BE electives to complete the Minor |
Certification in Chemical Engineering can be obtained by:
- Maintain an overall GPA of 2.7
- Recommended to achieve a "C" grade or better in all certification courses:
Math 171, 172 & 273; Chem 105 & 106; Chem 345; ChE 201; and Phys 201.
Certification in Bioengineering can be obtained by:
- Maintain an overall GPA of 2.7
- Achieve a "C" grade or better in all certification courses:
Math 171 & 172; Chem 105 & 106; BE 210 ; ChE 201; Phys 201; and Biol 107.
